PowerSuit's Jackpot SNG is a free online poker tournament you can play right now, with no real money involved. Three seats, no schedule: you pick a buy-in in free chips, the table fills in seconds, and before the first card is dealt a jackpot spin sets the prize, anywhere from 2x to 1,000x the buy-in. It's Texas Hold'em until one player has every chip, and that player takes the whole prize. Most tournaments are over in minutes. The chips have no cash value, and nothing you win can ever be cashed out.
If you searched for free poker tournaments and found lobbies full of 200-runner events starting at 9pm, this is the other end of the scale: short, loud, three-handed, and ready when you are.
How a jackpot sit & go worksFree chips, three seats
Sit & go means no start time: the tournament begins when the table is full. Here's the rest:
- Pick a buy-in. Three levels: 1,000, 10,000 or 100,000 chips. Change your mind before the tournament starts and your buy-in comes back.
- The jackpot spins first. Once three seats are filled, the multiplier is drawn and shown to the whole table before a hand is played. The prize is your buy-in times that number.
- Everyone starts level. 500 tournament chips each, blinds at 10/20. Tournament chips are separate from your real stack; your buy-in is the only thing that leaves it.
- The blinds keep climbing. Up a level every 2 minutes, from 10/20 to 500/1,000. With stacks this short, waiting for aces is a plan that lasts about six minutes.
- Winner takes all. Last player with chips collects the entire prize. Second and third get nothing but a fast rematch.
Jackpot SNG rules and jackpot odds
We print the jackpot odds because a spin animation shouldn't be left to imply them. Most spins land on 2x or 3x. The 100x and 1,000x tables are real, and genuinely rare: roughly one tournament in 20,000 and one in 100,000.
The multiplier applies to a single buy-in, so a 1,000-chip table that spins 2x plays for 2,000 chips, and one that spins 1,000x plays for a million. Everyone at the table sees the same number and plays for all of it.
Is PowerSuit rigged? The multiplier is drawn on our servers from a cryptographically secure random number generator when the table fills, before a single card is dealt. It doesn't know who's sitting down or what they've won before. We publish the odds because the 1,000x is real, and so is how rarely it lands.

Three-handed poker is a different game
Full-table poker rewards patience. Three-handed punishes it. With only two opponents, hands you'd fold all night at a full ring become raises, the blinds come round every three hands, and the polite strategy of waiting for a premium hand will blind you out while the other two fight it out.
It's the fastest way to learn the parts of poker that matter most at the end of any tournament: aggression, position, and playing heads-up once the first player busts. And since the chips are free, the tuition finally matches what the lesson is worth.
New to Hold'em? Start with how to play Texas Hold'em and keep the hand rankings open in another tab. Nobody at the table will know.
Free poker tournaments, no real money
The jackpot format is borrowed from real-money poker sites. Here it runs on chips that stay chips:
- Buy-ins come out of free chips. 10,000 on signup, a top-up every 4 hours, and a bankruptcy grant if the river has been cruel.
- The jackpot is chips too. Even a 1,000x spin pays chips with no cash value: no cash prizes, no cash-out, no prizes of real value. Why there's no real money.
- Optional chip purchases exist, and are never needed. They buy more play, and they flow one way.
- The full game is a free download for iPhone, iPad, Android, Mac and Windows. Tournaments aren't in the browser demo yet.
Want the slow game instead? The Hold'em cash tables are there for long sessions. The jackpot tables are for when you want an answer in the next ten minutes. Both are what a social casino should be: the poker, without the bill.
The loud corner of the Lucky Saddle
The jackpot tables sit in the loud corner of the Lucky Saddle, where the multiplier spin draws a small crowd and the winner buys a round they can't afford in any meaningful sense. Clem Palmer calls it "the only table where the arguing is louder than the poker." The losers, as ever, were card-dead.

FAQ
What is a jackpot sit & go?
A three-player poker tournament with no start time: it begins as soon as the table is full. Before the first hand, a random multiplier sets the prize, from 2x to 1,000x the buy-in, and the last player with chips takes all of it. Most finish in minutes.
Are the tournaments really free?
Yes. Buy-ins are in chips, which top up free every 4 hours and have no cash value. Nothing you win converts to real money: no cash prizes, no cash-outs, no fine print waiting after the win.
How long does one take?
Usually minutes. Everyone starts with 500 chips and the blinds go up every 2 minutes, so the table doesn't stay three-handed for long. Quick enough to play one while your soup goes cold, as the locals put it.
How is the jackpot decided?
The multiplier is drawn on our servers from a cryptographically secure random number generator once the table fills, before the first card is dealt. 2x comes up in 65% of tournaments and 3x in 25%; 1,000x is about one in 100,000. Everyone at the table plays for the same prize.
Who wins the prize?
The last player with chips takes the whole prize. There are no payouts for second or third, which is what makes the end of a jackpot sit & go so lively.
What if I leave before it starts?
Your buy-in comes back. Once the jackpot has spun and the cards are out, you're in it until you win or bust.
