Description
PowerSuit: Paradice City is a free-to-play social casino game set in a run-down 1980s desert gambling town. Players sit down at Texas Hold'em poker cash tables and jackpot sit & go tournaments, play blackjack, American roulette, Plinko, PowerPump and slots, and get paged by the town's locals between hands. Chips are free and have no cash value: there is no real money in the game, no cash-outs and no ads, and every piece of art is drawn by hand.
History
Lucky Deck Gaming was founded in January 2026 by three lifelong friends who wanted to bring back what made them love poker: the atmosphere, the characters at the tables of televised tournaments, the risky calls and the trash talk. They wrapped it in dark humour, set it in the 1980s and called it Paradice City.
PowerSuit launched on Android on 9 April 2026 and on iPhone and iPad on 29 September 2026, and has passed 10,000 players. The Mac and Windows versions launched on 7 October 2026, alongside the new powersuit.app.
No AI art
Every citizen, sign and seedy corner of Paradice City is drawn by hand. In the studio's words: "It feels like AI has taken over game art, and we've not wanted to use it for any of ours. It wouldn't sit right with us, and we had a clear vision of what we wanted. It's slower. You can tell the difference, which is the point."
