What are packs in PowerSuit?
Packs are how you get items for your avatar. Each slot in a pack opens into either a cosmetic item or a bundle of chips and Flash. There are three sizes (Envelope, Holdall and Briefcase), you can buy them with Flash or earn them free, and the odds are shown in the app before you open one. Nothing in a pack has any cash value.
A pack is a sealed bag of things for your character. Open one and each slot turns into either a piece of kit for your avatar or a bundle of chips and Flash, the game’s premium currency. Whatever you dress your avatar in goes with you to the poker and blackjack tables, the leaderboards and your friends list.
There are three sizes:
- Envelope: one slot.
- Holdall: two slots, one of them guaranteed Uncommon or better.
- Briefcase: three slots, one of them guaranteed Rare or better.
Bigger packs cost more Flash. Every slot that isn’t guaranteed rolls on the same odds, from Common up to Ultra Rare, and the full table (rarities, bundle sizes, prices) sits behind the odds button on the pack screen, so you can read it before you spend anything.
Every item is stamped with a serial number when it’s handed out, so the jacket you pull might be #564. Beyond the basic set everyone starts with, every item has a fixed supply, and the rarer it is, the fewer exist: when the last one goes out, it stops dropping. New items join the pool each season, and anything you already own is yours to keep.
Pulled something you already have? Keep it, or trade it back to the game for Flash. Items can’t be traded between players, and neither items nor Flash are worth anything outside the game: no real money, no cash-outs.
You don’t have to buy packs at all. The Book hands them out as season rewards, the top three on the leaderboards win them, and the locals send the odd one by pager. Opening a pack you own costs nothing. Download PowerSuit and your first free chips are waiting.
